Hey there. How was your week? Here are 5 of my days.
Most days I just stumbled on some good quotes, which is good because I saved my energy for Friday’s post, which I spent a considerable amount of time writing. It’s a very readable bit about the Virgo Eclipse on everyone was yapping about on Friday— NOTE: WHEN I WRITE ABOUT ASTROLOGY, I WRITE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO READ ASTROLOGY!!! (I do it for the people.) So please don’t be repelled. Heck, I don’t even want to read astrology that uses lots of astro-gobbledygook. I get it. This is good stuff for you to know.

Read this quote and loved it. It’s what I think of people who brag in public.
Being powerful is like being a Lady.
If you have to tell people you are one, you aren’t.

Speaking of self-importance… 😂
Loved this announcement about the all-female “mission” to “space”:
According to Blue Origin, Sánchez “brought the mission together. She is honored to lead a team of explorers on a mission that will challenge their perspectives of Earth, empower them to share their own stories, and create lasting impact that will inspire generations to come.”
I mean, come ON. Explorers? Mission? Challenging perspectives? Empower them to share their own stories??? 😂 I can’t.

To balance that news, I do want to read Mountaineering in Scotland by W. H. Murray after reading this inspiring quote:
Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets:
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!
I’d never heard the full quote until this week. Have you?
It’s a sign.

Celebrated my birthday with good friends under the Virgo Full Moon, which hung like a party lantern over the ocean just for me.

Everyone seems to know that the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo that happened yesterday and today (depending on your time zone) is significant. For how long is it significant? For at least six months, and I would say the rest of the year. In two years we will look back and say “wow, that’s when xyz really started!” This past week was a trigger point. Things started rolling in a new direction, personally and globally. (We are the world, as they say.)
But why was the Virgo Eclipse significant?
Here is a rather stream-of-conscious, non-astro-babble ideas I’m keeping in mind about the eclipse- perhaps you’ll find these ideas about the cosmic weather helpful. I wrote this in the way I might talk it through with a client.
Here’s some of what was reflected by the sky this week:
👉While the pace of events in life are increasing, keep an eye on details as much as you can, but loosen your grip on the illusion of achieving perfection.
It’s time to use all of the skills you’ve accumulated, and combine your competence with a bigger dose of supportive faith.
Are you taking Universal support for granted? Are you praying, meditating and asking for Divine assistance, while also throwing your hat in the ring?
You’re ready for something.
It’s a time of big beginnings, as well as big endings (look to the life areas where this eclipse falls in your chart. Message me if you need help with this.)
There might be sudden disappearances or a loss of energy in some area of one’s life.
You may suddenly quit something- it can finally be easy to let go of things!
This could also be some kind of loss too… it’s a good time to get more comfortable with the idea of cycles— things come and things go, people come and people go… hard but true.
We’ll see things going from invisible to visible, or visible to invisible, from being in the shadow of awareness to being VERY AWARE.
This might be a rather surprising time for some people.
Bottom line:
Big shifts and changes taking place. How big? It depends on where this eclipse touched your natal chart. Not everyone will be rocked by this event. (Globally though, I think we all will be a bit rocked by this event.)
A whole series of changes are opening up for us (again, in the Virgo-Pisces axis of our charts- message me if you want to know what this is for you, or if you have a copy of your chart, look to the Virgo-Pisces houses- these are the areas of life to pay attention to.)
This eclipse week opens up a sequence of events in our lives that represents a new chapter.
You may have been hearing a lot of talk about “structural collapse”… it’s important to keep in mind that letting go can be VERY liberating! It’s necessary for growth.
Re: this time we are living in:
Be aware that things that look the most daunting, things that look impenetrable, like strong stone castles are likely, actually SANDCASTLES… on the precipice of being washed away.
How you feel about this “washing away” rests entirely on your outlook. What’s your attitude toward change? Evolution?
My suggestion is to get much more comfortable with “change” if you have a reflexively negative view of letting go and are resistant to change.
All things must change. That includes you and me.
Here are two easy-to-understand examples of the kind of stone-castle-but-really-sandcastle dissolving:
The fall of the Berlin Wall and then the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
But what does this mean in my life??
To explore the energy being tipped off this week, you can ask yourself:
What structures in my life are fragile?
What am I putting too much energy into trying to build up?
Where might my energy be better utilized?
Am I able to move on from a project that is draining me?
What would be a positive thing to lose or let go of?
Bottom line (repeated!):
Something is ready to let go, SO can you assist this by surrendering it more consciously?)
Something is coming to an end. Letting go is difficult. (End of a career, end of a living situation… but opening up something else can be really amazing and exciting.
AND something is subtly and humbly coming into your/my life over the next almost two years… any endings you experience now/this year are ALSO bringing in a NEW DREAM.
Something is subtly and humbly coming into your/my life over the next almost two years… any endings you experience now/this year are ALSO bringing in a NEW DREAM.
More energy, more time and different resources can be gained this year, after the letting go.
Rethink how your energy is allocated, and then when you look back after 2 years, you’ll see that the end of something was actually the beginning of something else…
We often don’t see that something new IS beginning! We don’t often realize how significant something is going to be our lives because we can only see well in hindsight.
So have more faith.
Because whatever you begin at the beginning of an eclipse season can grow and grow and grow… like dipping a candle, or a snowball forming.
Something significant can have small, imperceptible origins, and grow to be much more important and impactful.
What are you dabbling in?
What are you poking at beginning?
It is worth recognizing:
what you feel ever-so-gently pulled toward right now just be more significant than you can currently see… There’s something there, but it may just be a feeling right now. You’ll discover the reasons later.
There’s something there, but it may just be a feeling right now.
You’ll discover the reasons later.
And to preview the coming months, please remember:
If the old dream collapses, a new dream will be forming at the same time. We humans are NEVER without a dream to build upon.
♥️Lots and lots of love to you, for real.♥️

Hi I'm new around here :) I liked your post and it pretty much summed up what I was feeling. 😂 Nice of you to put in words. Also both of those quotes (W.H. Murray and Goethe are two of my faves.
